Set in the backdrop of small hill station - Mount Abu in Rajasthan, Baat Hamaari Pakkki Hai is the story of Sachi, an orphan who lives with her Mama and Mami and Shravan, a businessman's youngest son. Sachi is obedient and family oriented girl. She is extremely talented and believe that whatever her elders decide is for her best. After being rejected by many boys and their families, Sachi's marriage has become the only agenda in her Mami's life. Each time a prospective groom arrives, Sachi is displayed and goes through the humiliation of being displayed and rejection time and again, till one day Shravan walks into her life to fills it with joy. Sachi's rishta is fixed with Shravan but this joy also proves to be short-lived as Sachi realizes that Shravan loves someone else. What does destiny hold for Sachi and Shravan?

Collegian Pratapchand alias Pratap lives with his father, Badriprasad, a building contractor, his housewife mom, and a younger brother named Ramu. Badriprasad is always critical of Pratap, and never a day passes without Pratap being reminded of his shortcomings. When Pratap's friend, Sunil gets married to Sudha, Badriprasad arranges Pratap's marriage with a village belle named Alka, much to Pratap's chagrin. After the marriage takes place, Pratap finds Alka attractive, and both fall in love with each other, and would some time together. But that is not to be so, as Pratap has exams coming up, and Badriprasad will not permit them to be close to each other. So both of them scheme up a plot to leave on the pretext of visiting Alka's parents in another distant town. Instead both of them go to Bombay, rent a room, and decide to be intimate. But fate has other plans, rather comical, for them, and will make rue their decision of coming to Bombay.

Hamari Yaad Aayegi revolves around a young man Ashok, newly relocated to a city, staying in rented accommodation owned by a young widow Hari Devi. He befriends an orphan girl Manorama and her brother Bulva. The story follows the heartbreak Manorama causes Ashok due to her love for money.

Freelance photographer, Alok Prakash, while photographing women hockey players in action, is hit by the puck, loses his senses and his hospitalized. His brother-in-law, a lawyer by the name of Prem Sagar, decides to capitalize on this accident, and to sue Alok's employer for a large sum of money, so that they can live comfortably for the rest of their lives. He explains his plan to Alok, and asks the rest of the family also to go on with this charade - with hilarious results - that will change their lives forever.

After the death of her businessman husband, Mrs. Sinha lives a wealthy lifestyle in Delhi, with her son, Vinod, who has taken over the business; and her daughter, Kajal, while she herself indulges herself with some friends to play cards - quite obsessively. Vinod would like Kajal to get married to his friend, Shyam, but Kajal does not like him.

Arun is a timid accountant in Bombay who dreams of romancing Prabha, but is too shy to share his feelings.
